JV Well Replacement System Requirements (Husky)

Project Overview

The existing non-operated well data management system supports a number of key departmental and corporate business functions. The custom developed system captures non-operated well information, well file artifacts and all related partner communications and transfers (ex. logs and cores). The system also outputs a number of status reports and also stores Husky proprietary and public operated well information.

The system was an ad-hoc development project that came into use approximately 10 years ago and is based on aging technologies that don’t align with current enterprise policy and function. A decision was made to map existing processes and functions and identify requirements for a replacement solution.
